(National Pipe Thread) are cut from 316 stainless steel giving a better finish and more durable and better sealing thread than you would get from 304 stainless steel.
How to Use
When Using NPT Threads always use some sort of thread sealing tape to create a watertight connection stopping any leaks. PTFE tape does a great job. Apply the tape by following the direction of the thread.
When using JIC using a sealant is not necessary. The seal is made by a Male flared end compressing against a female flared end, 2 wrenches should be used to tighten each JIC both the male and female end.
