Ceramic Buchner Funnel Tops
A ceramic Büchner funnel top is a circular, flat surface designed to fit over the cylindrical body of a Büchner funnel. The top is made from cerami and glazed for durability and ease of cleaning. The key features of a ceramic Büchner funnel top are:

Material: The top is made from a high-quality ceramic material, which is heat-resistant, chemically inert, and durable, ideal for filtration purposes.

Shape and Size: round, matching the diameter of the funnel’s opening. Its dimensions are usually slightly larger than the base to ensure a secure fit.

Porosity: The top has holes moulded into the surface that are designed to have filter paper placed over the top that allow for filtration to take place.

Glazed Finish: Ceramic tops are glazed to prevent the absorption of liquids and to make cleaning easier. This smooth surface also ensures that the funnel top is less likely to stain or degrade when exposed to different chemicals.

Central Opening: The ceramic top has a central hole that aligns with the funnel’s stem. This opening allows the filtered liquid to pass through into the collection flask below.
please note that a rubber cone shape adapter should be used in conjunction with the pyrex buchner to allow it to sit snug in the opening.
To use a funnel simply place It on a rubber bung on top of a receiving flask. Using a hose, connect the flask to a pump and turn it on. Next you simply need place the filter on the plate and begin filtering your product. (TIP: if the seal has formed you should see the perforations of the plate through the filter)
