[How to Use]
Using our 5 Gallon 220 Micron All Mesh Zipper Bag in conjunction with a 3 Kilo washing machine is a simple, effective way to create high-quality plant extract while ensuring efficient filtration and clean results.
Follow these easy steps for a smooth extraction process:
1. Prepare Your Materials
Start by gathering your plant material and ice. Break the material into smaller pieces to enhance the extraction process. For optimal results, make sure your plant material is of good quality. The material should be dry for better results.
2. Load the Washing Machine
Place your plant material into a fully meshed zipper bag and place this into the 3 kilo washing machine drum. Add the appropriate amount of ice and water (typically around 1/3 to 1/2 of the drum’s capacity) to chill the mixture and help break down the trichomes from the plant material. The cold water helps preserve the delicate compounds and allows for efficient filtration during the extraction
3. Insert the 220 Micron Zipper Bag
Place our 220 Micron All Mesh Zipper Bag inside the washing machine. Make sure it fits properly within the drum. The zipper bag will stop larger particles entering the slushy water
4. Start the Washing Machine
Set the washing machine to a low agitation cycle (typically around 10 to 15 minutes), which will gently agitate the plant material. This process will separate the trichomes from the plant material, allowing them to pass through the 220-micron mesh of the zipper bag. Gentle and less RPM’S is better as you the user can easily bruise the trichomes resulting in a darker botanical extract
5. Drain and Remove the Zipper Bag
Once the washing cycle is complete, remove the bag and drain the washing machine into another filter bag of the user’s choice. From here the user can collect the extract and prepare it for further processing or drying.
6. Clean the Zipper Bag
Once your extraction is complete, make sure to clean the 220 Micron Zipper Bag thoroughly to maintain its performance for future use.
A clean bag ensures better filtration and longer durability.
